Project RoleLead Designer
American motocross clothing brand Fox Head wanted an open, flexible and collaborative workplace that would inspire their staff and encouraged the Design Team to challenge preconceptions about how an office can work and how an industrial warehouse could house a creative and cutting-edge company.

Our design solution evolved from the desire to create a functional yet playful work environment that befits the Client's image. Traditional urban planning concepts — a 'Main Street', neighborhoods, park-like landscape elements and circulation-oriented 'façades’ — provided the architectural framework to help foster a community centered around place, interaction and innovation. Departments are distributed on either side of Main Street where diverse façades display the functions of the teams housed within.

Fox’s operational objectives were achieved through the incorporation of open offices, workstation systems tailored to varied departmental needs and support spaces, such as a photo studio, sewing room, technology hub & product showrooms. Every area of the design boasts a uniquely identifiable character. The resulting ‘city’ is an open and flexible workplace that encourages both creative collaboration and spontaneous interaction.
